#NaPoWriMo Day 8 : Where The Pavement Ends

After Shel Silverstein's "Where the Sidewalk ends"

There is the journey where the pavement ends
Even before the road begins,
The grass gets greener on the other side,
And the dusk approaches,
As our beings rest from our inner warrior fights..
To cool in the peppermint zephyr.

Lover, follow this path with me as we departure this place where there are streets without names and where black And white hatred has naught shame.
Pit and Pats where our fast beating hearts grow
We shall walk and it shall be measured in slow daylights.
We shall watch where the arrows go to the place where the pavements ends.

Indeed we will walk and it shall be measured in slow daylights.
And we shall go where the arrows go,
For our path, they mark, and the path, we know.
The road where the pavement ends.
